I have been teaching for 14 years (8 years in the U.S. and 6 years in Brazil). During this time, I have worked as a general education classroom teacher, Migrant Student Advocate, and Special Education teacher. Now, I am working as an Inclusive Educator at an international school in Lithuania.  As Rita Pierson once said, “Every child deserves a champion—an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.” This is the type of teacher I strive to be.
